August Break 2016 :: Clematis Jackmanii

Canon 70D | 1/80 sec @ f/9.0 | ISO 320 | Focal length 33m | Les: EF-S18-135mm

From one single bloom to a mass of flowers in a day short of two weeks, this is the second photo to follow the progress of the Clematis Jackmanii in my garden.

The August Break 2016 community photo challenge commences today (see the link to the details in the sidebar) with the optional prompt being ‘Morning Light’. Unfortunately, morning light in my part of the world was very grey and drab today, but these wonderful purple blooms lit up my day in spite of the overcast skies above me.

Are you joining in with The August Break 2016? Leave a link in the comments if you are, I’d love to see your photos.
